Hope this information helps those contemplating travel plans.

I am sure USAC is looking to have more cars running all their races, more people running for points. A trip to Florida and then to turn around and tow all the way out to Arizona is not a good way to start the season. That is a lot of travel and not only requires a lot of time off for people who do other things than just race, but also a lot of money in travel. It would make much more sense to have a race out at Tuscon when teams are already out there for the Oval Nationals, and it may draw more cars due to the fact that you could tow all the way out there and run more than just 2 pre lims and a final at Perris and 1 race at Tulare.

But looks like they are going to make the guys tow out to run Chico in September and then come back in November. Makes no sense to me. I say the USAC/CRA boys tow out east for Sprintweek!
