Anyone within reason should understand that you can't payout more money if you are not bringing in more money.

Someone mentioned "with the way the economy is"......exactly, pit counts have not been as high the past couple of seasons = even less revenue so how can we be expected to pay for a driver to run multiple classes with only paying the same price another driver pays to just run 1 class. The math don't add up. This is not meant to penalize anyone. Like I mentioned before, tow money usually covers the price of the extra pit pass.

Mason mentioned previously that we did not set the gate price. But guys have you not seen the purse payouts for the ASCT & AMCT features plus the tow money? That is some pretty healthy payouts all the way through to even the start money and tow money.

Also, we have never hosted a Indiana Sprint Week show in the past.....if you purchase a pit pass at Twin Cities, you have free range between grandstands and pits.

This post sums it up why Twin Cities is such a ***** hole. You obviously have piss poor lazy promoters running this place. To expect the racers to pay for everything is absolutely rediculous. Get off your a$$ and promote the place to put fans in the stands and maybe you would make a little money.

To claim that a track would not last very long if you didn't charge double is nothing but a cop out for poor promoting. Putnamville, Gas City, Bloomington, Kokomo and Lawrenceburg have had people running multiple classes and have survived for decades and their promoters get the stands 3/4 to full every week.

The prices are raised for this event due to the payout. The sprints and midgets are guaranteed tow money. This could not be done without a small increase in pass price. REMEMBER alot of series are now charging entry fees for this kind of event. We don't believe in entry fees, and will do everything possible to refrain from them. I would also like people to understand this is an event where the ASCT has had to lease this facility. Leases aren't free, they cost.

So... now the Bigger Better Stronger purse being advertised... is actually just larger due tot he drivers and crews being charged more at the back gate.... with the front gate being raised as well.... ever thought of being a oil tycoon.... sounds like a parallel highway.

the tow pit pass rule has been for 4 years? then how come ive raced two classes before there and never paid for two passes? guess they dont inforce it verry well. $35 for pit pass ok thats not a huge deal for me its the two pit pass deal that doesnt make since. Mason you know as well as we all do the racers are the ones thats gonna make you money if we dont show up then you wont have a crowd by raising prices for us that meens less cars. If you have a lot of cars show up and good racing the word will get out and the next race youl have more fans but fans arent gonna show up even with a $10 gate fee if theres only 15 cars so then it costs you more money you have to think in the long run to.

This Sat night I can assure you nobody will have to purchase 2 pit passes. This track is leased for our events, and rules are in place. The only classes that are involved is the AMCT and the MMSA. You can not run both events, so no need to purchase extra pit passes. What the tracks general rules are after this weekend is their business, but lets get this event in without any more debate. We are asking that you attend our inagural race, and hope to see you there.
Thanks,
BIG JIM

Yes... Give these guys and the event the benefit of the doubt. They will need a few race meets to shake out any issues. There are very few new events/products/whathaveyou that come off perfect the first time around. We've been waiting a good many years for someone to step up to the plate and reintroduce midget racing. Support this event.
