Pick yourself up, dust your self off, and move on. Life is too short so miserable. If you are so unhappy about all this - my advice is do something else that will make you happy.

Oh yeah, as some of you may know, I'm a USAC fan - so sue me.

Are you the guy downtown with the sandwich board on that says "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR"? You should change your handle from 767 to Mr. Negative. Does anything make you happy?
I simply asked if this was a good idea. Then I asked if there was anything behind this. THAT WAS IT. I have alot of respect for the rumble series..... in my opinion they did not succeed. I had a problem with usac, I sence quit commenting on them. I have went to USAC races this year. I enjoyed them, and even complimented usac on them. I would love to see midgets back at the Speedrome. The track is in sad shape right now. All I wanted to know was, is there anything behind this???? Any driving force to make this work???? What about what the keyons were doing???? U guys jumped on me for being Negative, so I bit back. Now u blame me for all you internet frustrations, get over it. I guess in my frustration, I got my answer. There is nothing to this. We are going to get a few shows with 10 cars rolling around.

how many more times can groups fail, before midgets are gone all togeather

Seadog...My post here is not about your comments...You have great interest in all open wheel racing..I know that.

I am a red, white and blue fan of the USAC past..call me old school. That's why I had the USAC 50th Anniversary celebration in Ft. Wayne a few years ago. I really liked the people who were in charge then..These guys in there now..they will throw any promoter under the bus...If they can do it to Don Kenyon...It can happen to anyone. Think about it..Don Kenyon has INVESTED tons of time and money for YEARS...and they just cut the ties over a common sense idea Don had.

The Speedrome treated Kenyon badly years ago too...

USAC is now a promoter in competition with others...keep that in mind.

767 is just pointing out...the dark side of this deal..I found that out first hand...

That being said...goodluck at the Speedrome...It may help midget racing in general..thats what I care about.

Best,
Tony Barhorst

OK, let's try this again, because you don't get it.

This is a thread I started with a link to a press release about USAC @ the Speedrome. Look at the post again. It says FYI. Do you understand that means FOR YOUR INFOMATION? That's it! I'm am not trying to make any point about it and I don't want to. Why? I freely admit that I am not informed enough to do that. You know, like things that have to do with subjects like who screwed whom or who did what to whom or saving midget racing or curing a terminal illness or any other damn thing. I have no relationship with any of the parties involved. It was strictly meant to be informative.

I will admit that I was trying make a point about your constant negativity, though.

I miss Dwight Clock on here, a reasonable and decent common sense guy. I also appreciate guys on here like Danny Burton and Fishburger. They have the same great qualities that Dwight had. There are also other good racing people on here too. I apologize for leaving your name out. But you know who you are.

767, if you are really "asking" those questions as somebody whom is genuinely concerned about the betterment of the sport, I suggest that you try asking the actual parties involved. It may be a dead end, but that would be no different than looking here for enlightenment.

I never thought you had the answer. You came at me for no reason. So I fed it back to you. Right or wrong at least you learned alittle bit more about the shadey or dirty things at the Speedrome. I'm sorry i came across negative in the begining. My rant tword you had nothing to do with u being a usac fan, it was all because of the stupid quote, I do not think like that. The world is not coming to an end, but short track racing is hurting here in indiana. This stupid rant did nothing to help the sport.

See you at the Rumble Tony.

Very classy, Keith.

Maybe USAC and Ford stopped working with you because you dropped too many racist bombs on them. Just a thought.

... My sincere apologies for an honest mistake. I absolutely meant to write the word "goons", which is what those two guys were. For whatever it is worth, I do not consider myself to be anything close to a racist. Poor typist, yes.

But I do stand behind the INTENT of what I wrote. It's a match made in heaven...
