the lights did that back in the mike farrar days also i heard mike and tj talk about when we worked there and they said everytime they turned the exhaust fan for the pit concession is when the lights would go out..but you think a guy that owned his own eletric company would have figured it out..lol

As I mentioned in my previous post my only complaint besides the lights was the roughness of the track. Of course it could be that I am old and out of shape.. My advice to all is to have some patience with them. I will probably try it again next year after they have some time to get the track figured out. I have seen what they have done at VCS which is a great track week in and week out.
Seems to defeat the purpose of an ambulance don't it? LOL

the track was horrible
it started ripping the bottom panels off are cars
tearing the steering wheel out of are hands
thats not a race track to me
and makeing 35 dollars to run the b-main in a sprint car
spikers no better then before

we wont be back and im sure others wont be either

I think if you would just pay attention.bloomington, kokomo, paragon, all have to wait for an amulance before they tranport.lps has always done it also.
The thing that bothered me more was them turning the car back over & just letting it flop.
After all the man could have been hurt worse than he was & im damn sure that would not help.
They need to take a serious look at the help they have in the infield.
Get some push trucks that can get up & push the cars & not act like they are circling the wagons.
Im sure that mr. Spiker will get this straightened out.
I am not bashing just stating some facts.

You know it's a shame all people want to do is piss and moan, the race track is the same for everybody and it is actually pretty damn smooth, my head hasn't hit the right rear the last two races! ( thats how long Spiker has been there ) If the curb bothers you set up for the bottom. It seemed to work pretty well for Hayden... I do agree about the wrecker drivers, fire and rescue squad. The push truck guys are going to kill someone! I have seen them fly across the track up close and personal in a couple of the races I've been in, I guess they think we can push the clutch in and stop. I will go back, The place is wild and I've been going there since before they had concrete for the bleachers rooting for men that are now legendary. So *****, complain, or say thanks, as for me I'm glad Joe is there and I'm glad I have a place to race.
Later, Mark Harden

I have personally had an all expense paid trip to the hospital from bloomington speedway in the ambulance, and I was not switched from one ambulance to another. Bloomington always waits to have an ambulance present before racing continues if a driver does get transported. That doesn't mean that they wait for the replacement to arrive before they take the injured party to the ER.

Starting this Saturday there will be both an ambulance and a fire truck at the track. Putnam County Operation Life will supply the ambulance and the Madison Township Vol. Fire Dept. will provide the fire truck.

Joe is also going to keep the current ambulance along with the people that ran it on staff...

Also, the reason the lights are going out is because pits and backstretch lights on same breaker. there will be an electrical company working on it.
