The facts are he spun off from the bottom over the birm to the track, did not see the official, and when he did he did'nt have any brakes. He apologized in person to the official and myself. He just glanced off the official which thank God he has quick moves. Its was a bad deal either way you look at it. All matters have been resolved.
Thanks, Dave

No, thank you Dave for clarifying. I really didn't want to make it look bigger than it was but as you can see, I wasn't the only one who seen it as aiming at the offical. IM glad he wasn't!!!!

You guys made the right call in my view, DQ both of em after that skirmish. Heat of the moment thingy. Im just glad nobody was hurt and Your guys handled it in a good manner.

Well...I was there filming. And I just have to say...to Dave...as well as you Charles. I don't buy what was told to Dave. From my vantage point, the yellow car...not sure who he was...STOPPED on the backstretch, and then purposely drove into the car that he spun out. Then, he backed up over the car he spun out...stopped again...then hammered the throttle to drive away. To the pits? At the official? I don't know...but he CLEARLY had brakes. I'm sorry, but I just don't buy his story. Glad all is resolved though. See you next week Dave!

Must have been a full moon hidden behind those clouds over the Burg and Florence both. Only bad thing there were injuries sustained at Florence.

Downey44 are you the Merrill Downey that ran Modifieds at Brownstown and Bloomington? If so, you were fast as hell to watch.
