Ballou hit Weir when the top 4 were in heavy lapped traffic. They weren't seperated by more than 3or 4 car lengths.I think Ballou would have won anyways without a caution. He apologized in victory lane and said it was all his fault. To top it off was photo finish in the crates.Winner had to be towed across the scales after contact at line caused a big pile up in turn one.Should be a good four crown if the track was like last nite.

And to top it off, the late model winner was DQ'd for an illegal carb spacer or something? .002 too big.. I'm assuming the 2nd place car protested him.

I think Chase Stockon was running an alluminum motor last night though wasn't he??

I don't think he really could have been considered a SCORA car could he?

Chase was entered as a licensed SCORA driver. This show had no car retrictions. By the way Craig Budde is now the SCORA points leader after Eldora.

Dadgum Mr.Watson I did'nt go into detail but I said in my post that Wier wanted to do a little dance with Ol BobBallou, When they pushed the car down from the Winners circle Mr. Wier was there to congratulate him. All I seen was officials trying to get him away.

I was rooting hard for Weir as he drove a heck of race. I thought he was going to get around Smith and in the wide open I doubt anyone would have caught him.

Weir had the smallest open trailer in the pits and it looked like he had a total of two extra tires with him. Ballou is fast around Eldora, but a couple of guys cut him huge breaks on several of his slide jobs.

Does anyone else miss Larry Boos on the microphone?

I couldn't understand anything the Late Model announcer was talking about. Very hard to follow the commentary!
