I agree that having a problem on an initial start is a bad deal. Great race but the fans would have gotten a bit more entertainment value for their dollar had Hunter been allowed to continue especially from the tail. The rules clearly state though that if a car leaves the track or has a flat other than the LF they are done. Sam's new SCORA series has the same bad rule so he probably came up with the rule initially and the new MSCS never changed it. Fans should petition to MSCS that in the event of a flat tire on an initial start only, the racer should have the chance to change it and start on the tail. Maybe Jason can let us know if this is a possiblity...

I have a feeling this may have been discussed in the drivers meeting. Everyone I saw who had a flat took it to the pits. Scockon had a flat and he got out of the car as if he knew he was done. Not sure what happened to Hud maybe same thing.

Hud broke a spring off his front axle, don't remember what side but he couldn't fix it quick enough to get back out.

Myself I couldn't beleive that they packed down a PERFECT cushion between every heat race and to top it off went out and worked what cushion that was left down in intermission, so when it came time to race they didn't want to wait on any of the cars that were involved on that 1st lap incident because of "time"???

I also couldn't believe the anouncer kept "bragging" about "2 mega flips" like that was the most exciting thing about sprint cars.???

The last 3 laps between Levi, Faas and Windom was totally Awesome!!!

Hated to see BC go out like he did, he definetly had em covered. Then he was down in the pits signing autographs after it was over, limping around (because he was in so much pain) shows this guys a real winner. I was very impressed with BC!

I'm not saying he was driving dirty...I know wissmillers have never driven that way, which is why it surprised me. Slidejobs are part of racing...sometimes that is the only way to pass, but I'm referring to the straightaways. I'm sure most of you were watching the top 3 or 4 so u didn't even see what I'm talking about but that is the group of cars I was watching the whole time. Its no wonder guys are getting hurt every week.

I agree...thanks for backing me up on that. I'm not trying to bash anyone...just hope people use their heads a little more so we fans can enjoy more than 15 cars racing at the end of the year.

Just incase some of you don't know, it was not Jason Adams who was bragging about the 2 flips..that was Alan Beck.

As for the racing, it was fantastic! Was glad that Jeff and Bryan were ok..and congrats to Levi on the win. It could have been any of the top 3 taking the checkers! Had a great time talking to Dirtfan and the Mrs.!!

[QUOTE=sprintjf;102171]So your not suppose to drift up on the straightaways? According to farriswheel, the red 15 "nearly" took out cars, but didn't. And from what I remember, It was coming to get the green when he got into Hunter and everybody got stacked up.[/QUOT

yep he did get in to hunter and that start was **** and should of been restarted from what i seen hunter never had a chance to even take off the 15 took off way before the leaders even took off i understand trying to get a jump on the next guy but dont drive over the top of them that is dirty driving theres no question about that

Wow Motormouth you are some piece of work... First off as I eluded to earlier, the series rules (MSCS and SCORA which you committed to race with Saturday and didn't by the way) both state that you can't come back on the track after leaving, it had nothing to do with "time". Secondly if they would not have stayed on top of that race track it would have had a 3' ledge - not a cushion - and more cars could have possibly been torn up let alone drivers taking a chance on being injured. As stated before it sure would be nice for you to either promote your own speedway and/or series so rookies like the Helfrich family and their employees could learn a thing or two.

Anybody who questions Helfrich's working of a racetrack is clueless. He is a master at what he does. Track was absolutely flawless all night long. This after 4" of rain in the days preceding Sat. I did not hear an announcer "brag" about "mega flips". Beck is a retired seasoned veteran announcer who comes back as needed and does a good job. Sounds as if someone just may be a little bit jealous of the whole situation.
