Those are some very good ideas to prevent the theft of your rig. However, IF Your rig gets stolen you have only one choice to get it back. You cannot rely on the police, I don't mean this a slam on policeman, but they are far too busy to find your truck and trailer. When they do recover stolen vehicles it is either from an infraction like speeding or more commonly abandonment.:headbang

Wherever you may be; call the local airport and ask to rent a plane and a pilot. The thieves that are stealing rigs don't have large buildings to hide them in so if not too much time has passed you stand a pretty good chance of spotting your stolen rig and calling 911 to lead the possee to recover it. I know of a couple of times this has worked for stolen trucks and trailers so remember it if it happens to you. It may just be the best $1500 you will ever spend.:crying:

Its probably too late for Manzy, but I hope Mr. Nolin finds his property and the thieves are brought to justice.:kick

Wouldn't hurt to put some identifying lettering or design on the trailer roof to make aerial i.d. easier.

Something you could do to help keep the truck from being stolen (I don't know if this will work for totorhomes) is like what was mentioned here before to replace the fuel pump fuse with a blown fuse of proper amp rating BUT also pop the inertia switch. All vehicles with electric fuel pumps have an interia switch in the cab. This switch is there so that if a vehicle gets into an accident the fuel pump stops instantly due to the impact the vehicle sustains in the accident.

You will have to ask your dealer for sure where this switch is on the vehicle you are diving. It's just another option to help you.

White Ford Super Duty has 120,000 miles on a 6 liter diesel motor. It has a Super Cab, 6-disc CD changer, tinted windows, FX4-Off Road Package, gooseneck plate, receiver hitch, and a grill guard, also runs good. Books for $19,000, we need $16,000 firm. Please call 405-620-0628 or 405-618-9931

found this on craigslist.. does this make enough sense to track it further?

I know they listed the missing one as an F-350, but someone should do some checking with Mr. Nolen to see if the mileage matches up and a few of the listed accessories
