The " Little Red Wagon" was Dodge A100 pick up truck owned and driven by Bill "The Maverick" Golden, and yes he did some exhibition 1/8" mile wheelstands at Chandler back in the day.

Didn't a Ford drag van called the "Little Red Wagon" race there in the late 60's/early 70's? It did wheelies all the way down the track. Also, wasn't Art Arfons there in the '60's with a jet car or am I just imagining that? I DO know I saw Evel Knievel at Haubstadt, that is for sure, and that was REALLY COOL!!!! That place was packed!

The jet car I saw was probably Art Arfons. I remember a spectators car window was broken as a result of the jet engines exhaust.
The Little Red Wagon also performed on the full quarter mile at Sturgis, KY. I Believe Bill Golden was from southern Illinois and ran a super stock Dodge at Sturgis before he got the Little Red Wagon.
