Was Dave in the 2B last night? Whatever car he was in that is not bad for an old guy. ( Just kidding) We look forward to seeing Mr. Darland tonight at Kokomo. :respect: Can we expect to see the Pletch family in Indiana sometime this summer?

Thank you, that is what I thought but not being there was not sure. My next question is why are you still up? Being a non sleeper I am used to staying awake all the time, are you turning into a non sleeper? :rolling Thank you for the info.

So far, this week, I have seen six races and all six have been excellent!

Much like Gas City, for most of the sprint feature tonight, the class of the field was Jeff Bland, Jr. He's definitely one of the brightest stars in the future of sprint car racing. But, unfortunately for young Mr. Bland, also like Gas City, he would ultimately fall into the clutches of a future Hall-of-Famer, who at this point in time, has a little too much skill and too much up his sleeve for the young driver to overcome. DD's on a tear, right now.

And congrats to Brad Sweet for a great win in the midget feature. His sheer will to win was really something to witness, tonight. He and Cole Whitt waged an epic battle for quite a few laps. Exchanging sliders, one after the other. But, after each one Sweet would eventually come out on top, as he was not going to be denied, tonight. This kid (both of them, actually) is an old school racer and has definitely became one of my favorites. And by the ovation he received, I'm definitely not alone in that thinking.

My guess is that the action, thrills and drama that we've seen this Indiana Midget Week should cement it as a yearly staple, just like Indiana Sprint Week has become. And, BTW, Dave Rudisell and crew. Great job and congrats on an exciting program and a racy track.
