The best thing for us race fans to do is get the local businesses on the tracks side... When you stop and grab something to eat, stay at a hotel or get gas take every opertunity to mention why you are in town

Not gonna happen.

These laws are coming right from the offices of the elected. Not one person went and complained about the speedway. This all boils down to the I69 construction crews and that is all. With the law, now the townspeople smell the blood and are circling.

If this takes effect without a exemption for the track, It will be almost impossible to overturn
Yes, I would encourage all fans and buisnesses in the area to call council. Sitting on your ass, just allows them to pursue whats more relevant. $$$$ to them,

If it takes effect, The only way to overturn it is to prove the law isn't being enforced equally. I don't even see them being able to enforce the I-69 noise control as that is Federal or state which overrides local

Someone needs to contact the former owners of the Indianapolis Speedrome. They went through this in Indy and beat this issue. You need to contact John Stiles and the Cohens to see how they did it. It always pays to talk to someone who has gone through the experience.
