Why not just make all tickets pit passes? Ask fans to clear the pits durring racing action? Stage the pits at events from first run/closest to pit entrance to last run furthest from entrance like Gas City
All or any one of these is a good idea. I know safety and liability are involved but Gas City even goes so far as to have buy a 50/50 and you can be in the pits till 6pm

As three adults and two boys were leaving Big Diamond Pits, the Spencer's came out to greet us as we were leaving! As long as we been going to the races, (sense the mid 70's ) this has never happened! About the only other driver was Bob Ream and my son knowns him! The boys, it took 5 minutes or longer to get Tracy Miller to sign their shirts! We were ready to give up! Her mother was after her! Or, Older sister. During that wasted 5 minutes, sprint haulers were leaving!
Saturday night we waited after the sprint main until the lights went out!
We wanted to see Billy Boat and Chad. We saw Billy start his racing when CRA came up to Petulama. Did the late models ever run their main? That was about 11:30 pm we had to fly out at 6:30 AM to the west Coast. Only got 2 1/.2 hours of sleep that night!

What a nice letter. Thank you Josh and family for not only representing yourselves, but for being excellent representitives of Kokomo, IN, non wing racing and USAC. I attended all events except Hagerstown.( Didn't want to stick around for Friday at the grove. I have seen my 1 winged race this year, the Indy 500.)I thought USAC did a great job of putting on a quality show.
I do think it is amusing that people are using a positive thread that says great things about our sport, and once again beating the same old dead horses.( That dosen't even include Don Moore)
Thanks again Josh as someone from your hometown you have represented us well. Also thank you Kevin Miller for sharing it with us, it was nice to meet you at Anderson.

Just throwing this out there to go along with topic....It sounds like Josh Spencer and his team made themselves ver approachable to many of the fans in the Pa area, and that is AWESOME....But I have to give a "shout out" to THE DEMON Damion Gardner, while many of us were waiting in line with out advanced tickets, Damion came over to the grandstand side of the place and was checking the place, then Damion proceeded to come outside the gate and starting bs'n and chattin' with many of us in line, I thought that was REALLY COOL of him, I mean hey, it's THE DEMON ya know....I'm speaking for myself (and probably many others in the area), but when USAC comes to town, for many of us, IT'S A HUGE DEAL, for many, it's the only time we'll get to see any of these guys race that we only read about, and the USAC name goes way back, and the different car owners/drivers associated with the club, it really makes it special for many over the last 2 yrs....Just my experience here, but we get pit passes each time, and most of the guys are very approachable and very nice, but like I said, we get pit passes....For families that come to these races when the come East, who can only afford or can only by general admission because of age, I'm sure they would LOVE the opportunity to meet many of the racers and teams that are with USAC, and if they do come East next year, I think USAC should try and find a way to make this happen, for the fans to be able to meet many of these guys before they leave Pa, JMO....One last little thing, we camped out at BDR, and Robert Ballou and his team also came over and hung out with us before the show and his owner parked the rig right where we were at and hung out with us for a bit after the races, that's pretty cool stuff right there.
