We ran second in the "Shootout" last year and should have won it with that old "nerf bar" but it was waved and OK'd before we even got to Tulsa. It is really only illegal in MINISPRINTS then only if you outrun the wrong people. A 1" axil spacer makes it legal even by MINISPRINT rules.

I guess the only person who cares is "you" sweet-heart. It was waved at the shootout last year because we bought two cars with the same set up. If it was a safety thing I would change it but that would require a special built bar because they are built with a kick up bent to the bar 2" from the end. Works great for USAC and Poweri rules. and after all we are just midgets with 1000cc motorcycle motors in them. Maybe Mini Sprints are a little behind the times . When they change the name to lightning they might change that rule too. Until then I would recomend "Preparation H" for your particuler problem it must be rosey red by now.
