Having seen him run some great races, I mostly agree with you, but I would never compare any of today's kids with those guys from the earlier days, because of 2 words: Power Steering.

Now, that's funny right there. You were at a race track, over two hundred miles from the race track that I was at and you were thinking about me and what I might write about the race I saw, almost a full state away. I exchanged updates with Hoover throughout the course of the evening, but what you were doing never crossed my mind, even once.

That's the point I'm trying to make, Dick. I think he's one of them. Chris Windom's definitely another. Ballou's another that looks like a 70's sprint driver. And guys like Clauson, Stanbrough and Jones would adapt and be just as competitive, no matter what era we're talking about.
