Me too. I know equipment is not cheap. A good camera is at least 2k and his computer is close to that. Then he has to use his internet if the track doesn't have wifi.

This coming from the guy who last week (during our Angell Park stream) declared he'd completely given up on us when we went down for a little bit during heats. I waited to restart the stream after the heats were over, even though we had regained our Internet connection, in order to insure continuity for the program, and you Seadog were dissatisfied with that. I only hope that you stuck to your word and missed the incredible feature last week simply because you couldn't show a little patience. That would be a lesson to ya. Thing is, it's this VERY ungrateful attitude that Dave Rudisell is likely not fond of. He allows us to stream, and he gets flak for it.

No matter what we do, it's never good enough, despite the fact that nobody owes you this service at all. I don't get it. Personally, I am going to the track regardless (chose a profession that insures that), so I can't even possibly relate to someone who makes it a habit of not going and needs a live stream to know what is going on at the track he wishes to be at. But whatever...

Bottom line is, be grateful for what you do get, and stop being so negative about what you don't.

I honestly wish the fairboard would tear down the old grandstands and renovate. Those stands have been there for over 50 years and I dont even feel safe walking on the roof of it.

Ill talk to my promoter and see what I can get worked out for Thursday, if not ill keep everyone updated somehow.

Thanks for sharing Chris. Its one thing to do something because you dont want to and another thing, not doing something because you can't. I will most likely be at Brownstown next Thursday since you explained it. I have been to Brownstown many times in the past mostly for the Late Models. Gill, Curry, Godsey, and others have put on some Dandy shows there. I was there for the WOO show several years ago, when it was so full people were sitting and standing in the isles. Also seen the non-wing Sprints race there. Now that was an awesome show!!!!! BTW whats the best time for me to call you as i have some questions to ask.

I don't say much on here but I do think for once we should be thanking Dean and the promoters. We have had more free live videos than ever before. Just last year the live internet was very bad quality but this year it has really improved.

Also I feel that Dave has done so much for sprint car racing and even though I don't have the money to head down I do understand why he just cant give away free live internet. He has to at least break even and having fans just sit at home an watch for free will not work.

I purchased the sprint week DVD from USAC last December and it was an outstanding production. So if nothing else you can always buy the DVDs I know its not the same as watching it live but its still fun to watch in the winter when there is no racing.

Also I grew up watching Duke race and I really don't feel its Dukes fault that the promoters are not wanting to give us something for free.

Bottom line nothing in life is free.

A good observation! If everyone would just send a couple of bucks whenever they have the chance to either the promoter or dean for putting on the live feeds just to show your appreciation, that may help show your support. Thanks Dean for doing the live feeds whenever you can, it shows your desire to help the sport advance in this day and age of technology. Next time I get a chance, I'll buy you a drink or two. Thanks.

My last post about the live streaming......All i was trying to say was that we should support the tracks who allow the live streaming. I enjoy the live streaming when they have it even tho its not perfect by any means. I am thankful for the live streaming i have been able to watch. I dont expect anyone to do the live feeds or dont expect any track to allow it. If someone keeps during live streaming then thats fine and if they decide not to or the promotor will not allow it thats fine also. I will continue to support the track of my choce, live streaming or not.
