The VCSD didn't end the race, the track did last time....but anyway, hopefully the 9/11 race goes better.

I did more then put my a$$ in the seat. I was there helping get the track open from near the beg. when Mike King took over. I painted some of the outside wall among other things. There is a good reason I am not at the track tonight....I have three weeks of vacation, two weeks of vacation is being used for mission trips with church to NEw Orleans. I work m-f 4pm to midnight and need to conserve vacation time for later.

I am at work.

So it's 8:50 right now what is going on there?
Wheel Packing, hot lapping or nothing.

My son and two other people made the trip from Cincy and I doubt they are happy. 2 3/4 hrs. one way.

I just talked to someone at the track and they told me that they have the water truck, bobcat and grater out there trying to run it in. Should get the wheel packing in before midnight.

Yea, right.

No hot lapping yet...still packing the track.

Just talked to itsanonwingthing, he said that all cars that wheel packed transfer to qualifying. The push trucks were lining up for hot laps.

Who's the f*#kin idiot that put that much water on the track with a chance of rain in the forecast??????????
Hell, why put that much on anyway?
