I'm looking forward to coming back to the Burg again this year and visiting that crazy bunch that sits in section 8.......i mean section A. You got to hand it to Dave and his crew for always trying to make improvements and they are more than happy to talk to the fans and ask our opinions on things.

You asked for it and now your getting it!! A scoreboard is in the works!!
Its looking like it will be finished around mid April. We will also have transponders on all cars that race, and the best part it won't cost the racers anything for the transponders. The scoreboard will be located in the infield, and it has 3 sides for great viewing.

Other news is we have paved the backstretch road all the way to the pits and have graveled all of the pits, we are working on paving a push off chute in the back off the pits to warm motors.

Our weekly purse is the biggest in the state again and we always guarantee our payout. Never any suprises at the payout window and no secret payouts. Below is our weekly payout:

Other improvements: Our new website will be launch in the next few days.
We will be making and serving Larosa's Pizza at the turn 4 concession stand.
Once again in 2010 we will allow small coolers to be carried into the track so you can pack a snack and a soda to save money. {No carry in or out of alcohol}

We are very excited about our Diamond Anniversary Season (60 Years)
and as we move forward look for some big announcements and special shows in 2010.
For our Season opener on April 10th, some lucky ladies may end up with some Diamond ear rings in addition to win money...more details very soon....
Thanks to everyone for your support of Lawrenceburg Speedway and a great 60 years of racing!!

Looked at other tracks payout for sprints and could only find Bloomington and Kokomo's.
For A Mains:
Kokomo $7,405
Bloomington $7,215 (I believe they have a hard charger everynight also)
Lawrencburg $7,175

You might want to reword your post Dave about being the biggest paying purse in the state.

Has there been admission prices posted yet (couldn't find them on web page) or does anyone know what they will be?
