To: treecitytornado, NAMAR, stands for NATIONAL ALLIANCE for MIDGET AUTO RACING, and it took in several Midget sanctioning bodies. NAMARS stands for, National Midget Auto Racing Series.
NAMARS... paid out over ONE MILLION dollars in CASH, and CONTINGINCIES when the year was over each year. It was the HIGHEST PAYING MIDGET SANCTIONING body in the WORLD up until it was sold in 1999. It took only four year before it went DEFUNCT by the new owners. If you want to know more, all you need to do is, JUST ASK, and there will be more information at your request.

What will be the weight of the midgets? I dont see it listed on your web site. How will you keep these so called high $$ midget teams from showing up?
Thanks, Quantrill

USAC is booked just about every weekend. If they show they'll have to use an SP4 tire or similar American Racer brand. Won't that be novel.

Weight rule with driver 1050lbs,Don is right Hoosier SP4 or an American Racer equivalent.I would think that our purse structure should keep the bigger teams at bay.

[QUOTE=john3g;159228]First off the the Non-wing Up-rights will run with the midgets. We welcome you guys. They (Up-rights) will have "NO" weight rule or tire rule. The full Midgets "WILL HAVE" both.
First of all, congratulations on thinking outside of the box and opening up an area where the slightly outdated midget can race without being overwhelmed with $money$
We have a series here in Missouri that is basically what you are trying to do, Ozark Mountain Midget Series. It is very competitive, with the upright mini sprints making up about half of the field.
You might want to re-think the tire rule with the mini sprints. I don't have statistics but I believe the mini sprints have won at least 50% of the races contested by OMMS. I can tell you on the bull rings the mini sprint will flat spank the full midget.
Good luck and if you get around the St. Louis area we might just dig out the Stealth Duggin and see what we can do.

I think the rules looked good with open weight and tires for the mini. The caliper of midget driver and equipment will be a little better in Indiana then hear in MO. No reason to put the mini guys at more of a disadvatage then they already are.

This is Great for mini-sprints, and making the best place in the country for up-rights even better!
