looks like DG is carrying on from the end of last season and now the hiring of Briscoe who woulda thunk! Setting the bar so high so so early is a tuff nut to keep up but what a heck of a start! Congrats Demon

Monday they timed 30th out of 32, started last and finished last in the 2nd heat and didn't make it out of the "B". I guess the time was the same tonight as they started and finished last in the 2nd heat again. I remember how tough they were a few years ago, so I am sure that they will figure out the problems soon. Didn't they win a Mopar Thunder show at Eldora?

Racecast was awesome... well worth the coin. Gardner did it on a tacky track ,then turned around and busted their ass on a slick one tonight. Seemed like he was gettin all that power down.. just seemed to be in a different gear than everyone else. Any word on how the webcast is going to handle the rain out??

Yellow on lap 24 for #81 Ballou. I just caught the last part of it where he was bouncing in turn 2. Stayed on all 4 and continued. There is another new rule this year. On restarts with 5 or fewer laps to go, lapped cars go to the rear. Since this was 6 to go, the restart had 6 lapped cars between Damian and DD, 2 between DD and Coons, 1 between Coons and Short, then Bland Jr., Clauson, Clarke, Burdette, Levi, Hines, Windom (whose tire went flat on the restart) and Ballou, who hadn't been lapped when he caused the yellow. I just noticed that Levi went from 9th to 5th in those final 6 laps, passing Burdette, Clarke, Clauson and Bland, if my notes are correct. Good racing on "The Clay By The Bay".

With the west coast up next, it could be a really nice home coming for the Demon, that's for sure.

Chaney won the second and final Thunder race in 2005. He and Courtad seemed to run their best wingless races at Eldora. I believe they won a Buckeye Nats. race at Attica in 02. Rob won three or four times at Eldora with USAC I think. I'll always remember him finishing second at the infamous tire eating King's Royal in 04. He was the only guy that didn't blow his right rear (the winner Jason Sides blew his on the cool down lap).

Congrats to Demon awesome! Team Chemistry means everything and they also have an Olympian on the TEAM.
