And to top it off, the late model winner was DQ'd for an illegal carb spacer or something? .002 too big.. I'm assuming the 2nd place car protested him.

I think Chase Stockon was running an alluminum motor last night though wasn't he??
I don't think he really could have been considered a SCORA car could he?

Chase was entered as a licensed SCORA driver. This show had no car retrictions. By the way Craig Budde is now the SCORA points leader after Eldora.

Dadgum Mr.Watson I did'nt go into detail but I said in my post that Wier wanted to do a little dance with Ol BobBallou, When they pushed the car down from the Winners circle Mr. Wier was there to congratulate him. All I seen was officials trying to get him away.

I was rooting hard for Weir as he drove a heck of race. I thought he was going to get around Smith and in the wide open I doubt anyone would have caught him.
Weir had the smallest open trailer in the pits and it looked like he had a total of two extra tires with him. Ballou is fast around Eldora, but a couple of guys cut him huge breaks on several of his slide jobs.
Does anyone else miss Larry Boos on the microphone?
I couldn't understand anything the Late Model announcer was talking about. Very hard to follow the commentary!
