Is the Terre Haute schedule released? Did I miss it? I am going to try to be at every single TH race I can get to again this year.

The Little 500 field last year was actually one of the least competitive fields in some time, from top to bottom, but I guess the first group was still pretty tight. It's really too bad that most of them crashed or broke. I still wish we could see a field like the one in 2004 that ended up bumping around 15 or 20 cars...

I am still upset about the 2004 race
That was my one chance to run that race, had everything set up and ended up qualifing 35th I think

Alot of drivers who got bumped that year paid another entry renumbered the same car and tried again putting it in the field that final try

2004 was also the tornado during thursday qualifing

According to the Anderson Speedway website, Don Mack/Curt Kelley won in 1978 in a car owned by Doug & Joanne Howell from Hunter, N.D. That is the only victory that I saw for him. I also looked at the podium finishes and didn't see anything else. It also shows that he led a total of 93 laps in Little 500 competition.

Added note: He started three races and finished in the top ten all three times.

Sorry, off the topic of the Lil 5....

I remember back a few years. 2001 I believe...

Started it off with the Silver Crown race at the Indy Mile. 100 laps.
The next night up to Anderson for the Lil 5. 500 laps.
After that we decided to try out the Big 5. Stayed for 180 laps.
Left the Big 5 for USAC Sprints at Eldora. 40 laps.

Over 800 laps of A-main in three days.

That was one of my most memorable trips to Indy. You just can't beat the month of May in Indy. :thumb
