What is this "5 heats" you speak of? I've never heard of such a thing. Can that even be possible? Sounds like some newfangled NASCAR stuff.

I would like to know the number that would generate 5 heats. I assume only 4 heats due to them being sponsored now days.

I remember when you did not qualify in the fast32 you didn’t get to race a heat. Plus all heats were total inversion and only top 4 out of b main . Those were some high stress nights for sure.

i am fine the way it is. I really don't care for 2 semis.

I would like some uniformity Like 28 cars constituting four heats and ten lap heats no matter the track. Yeah some shows like Sprint Week may require 10-12 cars in a heat but most won't and it's almost impossible to pass eight n eight laps.

I hate to water down the racing. It's not supposed to be easy. The 6 car invert is a equalizer. The groups that run more heats generally start the fast guys in the front. Start 8th with the fastest cars in the front is pretty tough too.

See my original post. 35 or more up to about 48 (not likely) 35/5= 7,7,7,7,7, 15 qualify leaving 2 10 car semis taking 3 each with 1 promoter option: total 22 in feature.

[QUOTE=BrentTFunk;553407]Good part is everybody gets start money. ANy more I am about quality over quantity.]
If everyone makes the feature, it makes heats pretty meaningless, especially since they get qualifying times back. Thats why I like bigger cars counts (as well as more racing)

I think you have to get in the top 5 to start up front. With an invert you can't just cruise.
