A very entertaining, albeit, lengthy evening of racing. I attempted to stay for the entire program, including the modifieds, but threw in the towel when the yellows started coming too frequently and left the track at 12:21AM. Those who left before the MOWA feature missed some great action. You have to feel for Brad Loyet who fell back to third on the last lap after contact with an unyielding lapper. Brad and Carson Short had an exciting few turns of action, until Carson looped it. I enjoy the dual shows, and hope they continue to schedule them next year. There was a really huge crowd last night, and I understand there were a lot of first timers. I hope the much later than usual program doesn't deter some of those potential new fans from coming back, as I saw many fans exiting throughout the evening. A large contingent left after the MSCS feature, but they got their nickels worth for sure. I attended my first race at TSS in 1957 and it is amazing how the place has changed and progressed. I hope the Helfrich children continue to keep the place going for another sixty years. I'll keep on coming as long as I am physically able to do so.
