The better you get and the closer the racing will be come.

The track had two grooves all night. Seen a pic from after the races of people sitting on the cushion in two which was two foot tall.
Glad USAC is back at the Grove. I know those guys worked their tails off to even get a show there. Staab told me when he got the Eastern Storm Going that every track wanted to run their normal night etc. It was very hard to get the races they did in the first few years.

Also was a stellar car count
Is this the first Eastern Storm with no rainouts? (anti-jinx disclaimer..) Its a week or so later, more convenient for me too... good move

I was really looking forward to the Terre Haute USAC race recently, but alas, rained out. OK for me after 2 day drive from Denver, needed a break, swam 1/2 mile at Terre Haute YMCA, had terrific dinner of Indian food, sat in the park watching the swollen Wabash... I like Terre Haute. But the next day when I pulled into Indiana StateFairgrounds & was told about cancellation, I was crushed... no rain, muddy track. At Kokomo they know how to fix that, it seems...
