Just the heats get your money's worth, some of the most intense racing there is regardless of the genre.
I've never been able to understand why more people don't go to the Dream. I know as far as racers go the purse is different with the winners share being much larger and not as equal throughout the rest of the field but the best LM drivers in the country all still show up and you still get the same format. Not to mention the weather is typically much nicer in June vs September. But you compare the crowds to each event and they don't even come close. I just go to both

Every Race I attend is my favorite because I'm at a Racetrack and not much else is better than that!

Strictly speaking for 2016 I would have to go with The Turkey Night Grand Prix out West at Ventura Speedway. We went to the 2012 Turkey Night at Perris and that was a great time. Unfortunately that seemed to have fizzled a bit over the past couple of years.

Now they've moved Turkey Night to Ventura and we're gonna' make the trip West for that deal. We went to Ventura for opening night in March of 2012 and we left with the impression that as good as the sprints are (and they are VERY good) at that place the midgets will be equally as good or better and it's located at one of the most beautiful and unique settings of any dirt track in the world. I believe the Turkey Night will be revitalized at Ventura.

Year in and year out we look forward to the week of vacationing and racing in Southern Illinois at Rend Lake and Du Quoin.

Ironman 55 WoO and PowrI for 2 nights at Pevely

The Leffler Memorial, IL Midget Week, and Gold Crown, and Haubstadt for Sprint Week are all can't miss for me too. I'll be going to the Kokomo Smackdown and part of Indiana Midget Week for the first time this year so those could make the can't miss list too.

Non Open Wheel: AMA Flat Track at the Springfield Mile.

OMG I forgot I"d like to say I'm sorry I have lied to everybody and I am truly sorry. A friend (Ron Miller) talked me into going to the ARCA race at Salem. I found it so exciteing I was able to get a good half hour nap in lol. Funny thing about that was when I woke up everything was the same as when I nodded out HA HA.

Leffler Memorial is hands down the best tailgate scene. #partyinthebeanfield I think the racing was pretty good too. 😜
