The World of Outlaws are racing @ Chico the same weekend as I understand!:redflag: I think Calistogs not long for the ride!:headbang I think that it could be all General! Best seats, top roll of section 5.
I guess Wingman must be a kid! How can a real Wingfan miss out on CHICO GOLD CUPS!:kookoo 4 nights of wings and some Outlaws in a 360? Swim suit, Jackslash! Chili, One big party. Walk to the 7/11 for the beer run! You don't have to drive all 4 days! Next best thing is K ville. Joe |

I went to the 4 crown nationals several years ago....the non-wing sprints were sloooooooow compared to the wings. That is why my money will be spent on World of Outlaws. About the only choice within about 2 hours is non-wings. Indiana took the wings off a few years ago. IT SUCKED! |

Speed and racing sometimes go together but sometimes they go the opposite direction. The last few years the Silver Crown features at the 4 Crown were very good i thought. Agreed they aren't turning 13 second laps but let me see some passing at a slower speed compared to a balls out parade any day. :nonwingfan:

I know about the cost! If you like something that much! Go for it! If your into speed Calistoga is the place! To bad that your Outlaw gave it up! I'm sure for the same reason! The cost! I'm 25 minute from there I stop going 2000. Why no passing, cut the main down to 25 laps, from thirty, cars running out of fuel all the time, because of the midget tail tanks. Then one track owner killed NARC! Made his Golden State racing club. As Jimmy Sills said, you better have your lunch down before the turns! Then there this one, a drag strip with turns! The best wing show is the Gold Cups! Chico! At one time they had more nights of racing! CRA came up, then they had midgets raced also. It is one big party of five nights! with the best WING DRIVERS in California against the Outlaws! Austin ,must have moved about the time I gave it up, the Winged cars. I rather go to some different tracks in the USA! than see WING RACING DIET up here in Northern Cal. Ron Shuman deal, Perris is 10 hours away! I'll never go back! Do what I did, cut back, go experience the World of Racing! Now it is more expensive than ten years ago. Just off of the Eastern Tour. (saw two mains that not cheap). Next race is USAC-CRA. Then race year is over. Did see Gettysburg! In the rain. Talk is cheap! http://www.stevehardin.com/calistoga.htm Joe |

Austinsprinter You are right, the Outlaws are the next weekend @ Chico. So there is a chance. I was wrong.
Is the Devils Bowl worth going to?: Joe |
