True Logan and I wasn't trying to sound ungrateful. Just that there are ways and yes, many tracks don't have fence all the way around, Most I've seen have been built and rebuilt over time. And many do sections at a time.

The effort is appreciated. If they can find a way to build 50-100 ft of catch fence a year, It is still a heck of improvement in each instance..

A mechanic once asked me what's the most important thing on a car? I said Brakes. 100% correct he said.

I consider catch fence as a set of brakes Anything can make things Go. Stopping calamity is way more important.

I'll never understand the attitude of some folks that racing is dangerous and we should all just accept that fact.....I'm glad that people who build cars, planes, etc take a different approach.

It took Dale Earnhardt's death at Daytona for NASCAR to get serious about safety. Will it take a sprint car in the grandstands or smashing into the pits for dirt tracks to get serious about it?

I'm not saying we will not support him at all. Heck if I had the money I would GIVE it to him. I love the track. It was at one time my favorite place. Just don't want the guy in a pickle. Now that would suck. I want to go there Sunday after L-Burg on Sat.

I still say take down the fence in the corners and move parking around some. I know Sumo has invested a lot of time and money in this deal, and I hope it works. He's fixing the track and seating. It all takes a while, we'll see what goes on from here.
