I seen that on the replay and that's what made me think this could have happened at Kokomo.

The problem is that Dean and USAC are producing a Cadillac. (High quality pay per view site) However, most of the market is satisfied with a used bicycle. (Amatuer camera man posting a Free youtube feed) I am not smart enough to know if the market is there to warrant Dean and USAC's business model, but I know that I have no interest in a pay site whem youtube has grown so much. Which is strange because I am usually a die-hard USAC supporter.

Actually if you look around the front gate went up right here in our back yard. When they traveled,at some places including this Friday night it $20 instead of the $25 here. Seems I recall reading Eagle's front gate was $20 too.

I agree with this. I seldom watch anything online, but I used to watch a few free clips occasionally. Most of the races aired I was at anyways...I spend plenty going to the races. I'm not paying to watch on the internet.

This is 2012, not 1985. It is 21st century technology. It is a strong and very effective tool. If people choose not to use it to their advantage, they only have themselves to blame for not taking advantage.
What you say is true but, if no one see's it, the value is diminished substantially.
USAC needs a video system that people can subscribe to for most the races's Live, individual races Live, replays of all races, then have DVD's of special events and a year book. Then have free after race videos for those that don't subscribe but are interested.
Get sponsors that are in the USAC area and help improve revenue and share with tracks, promotions and drivers.

You are right it is 2012, USAC needs to get a video system people will suscribe to and promote the series, so your above statement will be accurate.

Actually most college athletic departments have subscribed or host online systems just like I have explained for online sports. I am sure many of you Hoosier, Bulldog, Sycamores, Boilermaker fans watch online basketball at times.

I can't say i would pay to watch an event after it's over but in Mr. Mill's defense i know these video guys don't get paid enough for what they do. You just don't pop the tape out of the camera after the races and turn it in.

This whole deal is still in its infancy. Two or three years old. It is growing all the time and sometime in the future as it gets bigger and more organized, the pot will be sweetened for everyone involved. Before that as it continues to grow, teams and tracks need to take advantage of where it is at now at this young stage and use it to promote themselves.

I totally agree with ThePurple 73 that USAC needs a live feed online with different levels of pay per view. Subscribe to all USAC live content for a full season, monthly (like July 2012), for a series full season, monthly, and per race. This allows for international and national fans to view USAC racing at a fraction of the cost to travel, use vacation time/dollars better used for their family, and contribute to the bottom line for USAC, tracks, promoters, teams, drivers, etc. Paying to watch a race after the results are known is not going to work. Ask NBC about the recent Olympics. A live feed is the only way to combat the "twitter/texting/Youtube" world that racing results enjoy today. I suggest Buckley stay out of USAC and form his own LLC and pay USAC and tracks for rights and produce the live online feed himself. His talent and crew are incredible. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity waiting to happen.

Left rear coming apart would be no big deal. If the right rear would have taken a bite when he was shutting off the car it would have been a whole lot worse. Nothing like being drug around by a race car.
