Some of these guys & gals, although they may be first-rate firefighters, have never even removed a quick-release steering wheel, been shown how to shut off a fuel line, or unbelted a driver out of an open-wheel car. We as competitors need to change that to ensure that we are as best protected as we can be. Prayers and wishes for a speedy and full recovery to one of our sport's most competitive and just all-around 'good guys'.
