Great race-- I would say it was the best race all year at Berlin. I would say Bobby East was the fast car of the night. Yes the stopping on the track was alittle on the dirt bag level. But he did get unlaped by driving/pasting the cars. I also think at the end, he did not hold up the leaders. But was pulling away from them.
On a small, not that big of a deal to me, was the few cars that came out on to the track before the race to meet the fans. I guess the drivers think they are all ready in nascar-to good to meet the fans?

We sent our car out for it chop. We were told that the top six were to send their cars up for the autograph session. I stayed in the pit, but was told later that it was just us and one other car. Is that true?

I remember for sure seeing Wilson and Gordon's champ cars and the midgets of Byrne, Dietsch, and Fuhrman out on the front straight away. Daum and Martini may have also been out there, but I can't remember for sure.

Pretty much all the drivers were out there signing autographs, but didn't have their cars staged. One driver said that USAC told the teams not to bring the cars out on the front straightaway in order to help move the show along quicker.

Only way I would return is if there was a better support class. $40 for 36 cars is tough to chew on here. It was a good experience though.
