I try to search out the old school places while in Tulsa. So far Brownie's Hamburger Stand, El Rancho Grande, Hank's Hamburgers, & Ollie's Station fits that bill. My favorite restaurant, but not of the old school flavor, is Smoke on Cherry Street. It's a cool place with great food, good for lunch & dinner. One steakhouse I've wanted to try is the Bull in the Alley, but I'd say it's an evening place, which of course is reserved for racing.
