The 305's put on a great race. During the 2nd caution at the start, you could hear Luke Bland's motor not sounding right. But you know what they say, it always runs amazingly fast until it goes. And that sums up what happened there. Luke kept a decent lead for most of the race. Not huge, but enough. While a fantastic 3 car battle for second took place behind him. Unfortunately for Luke the motor gave way with around 5 laps remaining and handed the lead to the battling trio, with Ethan Barrow, driving Eric Smith's 14 car, prevailing and getting the W.

Gotta feel bad for Luke Bland though, his second year running the winged sprinters hasn't been a good start to the year with the front end getting folded from contact last week, now mechanical issues this week.

Props to Jeff Bland Jr. and his charge in catching Brady there at the end in the 410's. His car came on just a little too late to chase down the nearly flawless Brady, who did dip off the front stretch just a little around mid-way. Leary kept with him for a while, but faded as the track slicked off. Still good effort to try and dethrone Brady, who made it look easy from the pole.

Whenever Brady starts on the pole at Bloomington, it would take something to go wrong before he would lose. Brady just has that track figured out.

Brady doesn't always have to start on the pole to win. He's won a lot starting mid-pack, he's even won at Bloomington starting dead last without the benefit of any cautions!!

Great job!

Oh I know, but starting on the front is like giving him the win. I am a huge fan of Brady.
