Kevin Montgomery and the Canyon crew obviously did a fantastic job of preparing the track today. BC broke his own track record and at the end of time trials he is 10th quickest. I've seen multiple drivers under the track record when USAC or some other series hasn't been at a track for years, but I don't remember anything like this on the second straight night at a track. Great job by DD, Steve, Carla and the whole 71P crew!

All Brady Bacon needs to do is start the feature to be the 2014 USAC National Sprint Champion.

Logan Williams is a scratch for the night.

Brady Bacon's point lead over Bryan Clauson is 63 entering the heats. 68 points are still available.

"The Tempe Tornado" Lealand McSpadden turned some laps in the Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame 2-Seat Sprint Car with Ellen Ellis.

Leland is one of the all time great race drivers from out west and Ellen is one of the best race fans anywhere.
