Cummins tangled with somebody and tagged the wall, but was able to refire at the back of the field. Short started smoking late but still managed a top 10 I think. Stellar field at KISS race with lots of young guns making big strides this year. Another epic show at The Class Track.

Both sliders had no chance or being completed clean. But I guess that's racing

Robert Ballou was the winner of tonight's "When Opportunity Knocks" award, as he snuck in and stole second place away at the end of Leary's last lap dive bomb attempt on Jeff Bland. Bland was just flying around that place, tonight. And he wasn't checking out on C.J., either, as he was keeping pace. He was very fast, too. Last week at The Burg and tonight have been two real good examples of how much he has improved, this year. But, the star of the night was definitely Jeff Bland. As soon as the green was dropped, he was just a rocket, lap after lap. Hitting his marks perfectly, it would have taken a Herculean effort to have taken the top spot away from him, tonight. Thankfully, Leary's last ditch attempt just made contact and didn't take Jeff out. He deserved to win and it's good that it ended up that way.
The track was fast. The racing was good. The company was good and it was another great night, at one of the best tracks out there. Jerry
