I live in Indy and have been over 3 times this yr for the non wings. 1 week was a rainout,the other 2 were rainouts here in Indiana,and Jacksonville was running. If they continue to run non wings,I'll try to get there as often as possible. If the run wings,I'd have to think about it long and hard to drive the 250 miles to get there.

This poll was for amusement purposes only.Please dont put to much stock in the results.I am very pleased with the support that we have gotten this year.Could the car counts be better? Of course,but considering we have only got in 5 of 16 nights this year,we are begining to feel like wer'e cryi'n wolf over here:headbang.On a serious note....I want to thank all of the fans and drivers for their support this year:thumb.Now if we can just keep it from raining:eek:
By the way,if the results stay the same,I won't hear the end of it:doh:

Thanks for sticking with it, more of us racers feel for you promoters now, more than you know. And it's been bad all over.
Hopefully with your next race it will start some momentum....both from the fans and the racers.
Non wing and the DT-3 is still the way to go. As I remember, wing racing wasn't working for the previous promoters either.
The Bell Shootout in Lincoln on the 19th has been revamped, and with a good showing, maybe we can build on something for the future there.

I think the September 26th event at J-ville will be terrific. USAC isn't running anywhere, nor is MSCS. The only track that will be is Gas City. With the big purse for the "Back to Shaheens" night, I think a lot of teams and fans should make the trip, I know I will.

What if we only let the guys who have raced with us atleast one time(this year)the only eligable drivers for this event???Do ya think we might have a couple more cars each week,until the Shaheen's race??
J/K of course...or am I:O::O:

I think having some kind of stipulation to race the Shaheen's race is a good idea. Paragon, IN does that when they run their bigger shows. I believe you have to race there at least two times in order to run their bigger events.

Then you could run Friday night Jacksonville then Lincoln make for win win for the travelers and the track promoters. Who is going to travel for 750.00 to win. (cherry pick 750.00 at 4.79 per gallon fuel.) Make it 2400.00 for the 2 days then we may get some better cars and have better shows. Wing-Nonwing IL is still yet to be set in stone. See how many Wing cars you would get for 750.00 to win.
(if I could log on to another name less board I would say the same there.)
The Lincoln race on July 19th is non-wing and $1500 to the winner

I give Hammer credit for trying to get something going with the non-wing sprints. it migt not be a $10,000 to win show but at least he is willing to stick his butt out there to try and get sprint cars back at lincoln. tripp instead of bashing why dont you try supporting.
