No slight intended toward Chris at all. Also, I've been riding Kunz all season to get out his champ car, haven't I Keith. It isn't the getting rid of Tyler to me that bugs me. What bugs me is I'd rather see another car on the track, instead of shuffling drivers around a couple cars. losing a ride is nothing new in this business. I just wish someone would add another car to the field.
What Christopher Bell brings to any race team is Talent. There are many race teams that do give talented drivers a chance that are not paying for rides!

Everyone thinks they know everyone's business but the truth is if a driver goes out and wins races owners will notice and owners will hire the drivers with the most talent! Thank SIX-R for staying in the sport.

Ok, so of the three 6r drivers are you gonna say Tyler was the least talented and deserved to be fired instead of the two girls. Lol Posted via Mobile Device

Best of luck to Tyler!

Why get rid of one of one of best and most knowledgeable drivers in the series when bringing in (as you stated it) new young talent? Could there be more to this then is being said?

Even if there is more to this then is being said. Why do you think you need to know?

And just where in the hell did I say I had to know or needed to know? You tell me anywhere in my post that I said that? Please, the floor is yours to prove yourself right.
Hey, I have a couple Silver Crown cars for sale if one of you want to buy them, Then you can hire who ever you want. Call me and I will make you one hell of a deal.
Thanks Keith Kunz
To Six R fans: I would like to take a minute and answer some of your concerns and comments that you all have had. For the past 25 years Team Six R has had a great time fielding great drivers like Jim Keeker, Jack Hewitt, Page Jones, Tony Stewart, Jason Leffler, Brian Tyler, Kody and Tanner Swanson and Jacob Wilson. There have also been a few others who helped cover for our drivers due to other committments. The one thing you will see in most of the drivers that Team Six R has hired is that we gave most of them their first chance at a Silver Crown ride. Jim, Page, Jason, Kody, Tanner, Jacob, Taylor Ferns, Miranda Throckmorton, and Kyle Hamiton are just a few. We have tried very hard to bring in young talent into the series without having to pay big money. This was all being done while trying to make the Silver Crown Series stronger. We are now bringing Christopher Bell into Six R just like we did all the other past drivers. It is like Keith says, if a driver does well and shows his talent and the desire to win, owners will see that and hire him. That is what Six R did. I will also say if Six R was racing on all the sponsor money brought by all the drivers listed above, Six R would'nt have made it through the first year of racing with USAC. I know there are a lot of people out there that will never believe that. If you were to see any of these drivers at the track you could ask them.
Finally, I would like to address the Brian Tyer departure from Team Six R. I agree with all the fans of Brian that he is one of the best Silver Crown drivers out there today. The record definitely shows. I will say that making the phone call to Brian to let him go was one of the hardest things I have had to do. Brian has been a great friend and always will be with all the Six R guys. Why did we do it? We've made many changes in Six R in the last year and they weren't working. We felt that we lost the chemistry. However, Brian is still very capable of winning races.
For those of you who were wondering-Why didn't we wait until the end of the racing season to make a change? We simply wanted to give Christopher the chance to run a mile dirt track and a half mile dirt track in a Silver Crown car prior to the 2014 season. I would like to thank all the friends of Team Six R for their unwavering support. I hope that I have cleared up any questions that you may have had. I want to wish Brian Tyler all the best from here on out. We hope to see him back soon in a Silver Crown Car.
