A couple more quick comments:

+ Hated to see the nasty flip by Brett Burdette who appeared to catch a turn 1 rut and went for a wild ride. Thank goodness he emerged in o.k. condition. He was flying to the front, moving from mid-pack to 4th before the thrill show.

+ Tough luck also for Shawn Westerfeld whose only mistake was to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, serving as a landing pad for Burdette's 17B as it fell from the sky.

+ Tyler Hewitt, a young man I've known since he was a pre-teen (along with his Dad Jeff and Grandpa Lloyd), had a nice top ten effort (8th). He's improved each time I've seen him run as he gains experience. Very smooth, all he needs now is HP.

+ Two time Track Champ, Joss Moffatt, must be glad to see the '12 'Burg season coming to an end. He's had the worst luck imaginable this year at the 3/8 mile.

+ Jason Soudrette could have used a bad start yellow (pole man appeared to jump) in his heat. The for the night flagman (Tim was off for his son's wedding) let it go green which put Jason 4th or 5th (from 2nd) and left him to run the consi (which he won) and starting waaaaay back in the feetch. The next two heats were indeed yellow flagged for jumped starts.

+ Gotta give a shout out to my boy Sean Johnson who raced from 19th to 4th in the modified feature. Impressive any time but especially so with 40 U.M.P. mods signed in.

+ Very nice to see Andrew Elson who ventured up from NC to play in the mud again. Also a former track champ, he ran 4th.

+ Much of Section "A" was rooting hard for our guy, Landon Simon, and it was looking good until he broke. Have a GREAT PA trip with the CSR 45 Landon.

+ CONGRATULATIONS to Logan (Cowboy?) Hupp on the Championship. Most deserving, he certainly earned it.

Yeah, I know......I said "quick comments". So sue me. You know me better than that.
