1. I was listening to my scanner during the time when the sprint cars were packing the track and the flagman who was at the entrance of turn 3 got mad a Cole Whitt because he gassed it a little. The flagman said "I am going to kick his ass" Then a Cole come by him next time, the flagman picked up a piece of dirt and threw it at Cole. I couldn't believe what I heard and saw.
2. During hotlaps, they were looking for the 21K of Krockenberger. I heard over my scanner some track worked say that the owner threw him our for sparying him with dirt during wheel packing. I assume the track worker meant DA when he said the owner. Sure enough the 21k hauler left a little later .
3. During one of sprint car restarts, the guy pulled the rope and it cme off of the cone. Rather than throw the yellow and get the cone off of the track, they finished the heat. It could have been a dangerous situation.
4. The whole grounds could stand to be trimmed. The vegitation is overtaking the whole place. LPS was one of my favorites when they cared and took care of the place.
Still glad I went but the attitutde of the track staff leaves a little bit to be desired.

You are correct but at the drivers meeting the track Officials stated this, to stay clear of the track workers and officials while wheel packing and not to gas it up next to them because they are not out there to get a mud bath they are out there forcing us to pack where its needed to get it done quicker so we are not out there all day because some of the drivers don't want to get their car dirty its happened a good few times before last night and they warned all of us that we may be sent home if it continues to happen. Cole is usually not at putnamville anymore so he may have done it intentionally to be cute about it or maybe not I don't know. Krockenberger #21K is there each week so thats most likely why he was sent home for slinging mud at DA or whoever I don't know who it was or what because I was out there too and didn't see it plus he rarley does not help packing much to keep his car clean and I don't blame him for that reason I hate coming in covered in mud too, but I would rather make the track packed in well so thats just part of it.
So you know why 21k was sent out and Cole just got lucky and didn't have to pack up too, I don't agree with cole getting mud thrown back at him but in a way I do just depends how bad he hit the flag man just remember this there is still some rocks mixed in with the clay too and just in the race when someone gives you a slide job and your left arm, shoulder gets hit with all that mud its like getting shot with a paint ball machine gun so just think what its like standing there without a suit and helmet on.
#3. I was in that heat race 3 and I believe I did end up running over the cone it caught me off guard just happy it didn't hurt anything.
So far this year they have made a change for the better the track has been better all year than the last two years. Also the hole that is always in turn 1 was gone this week so I was happy.
So Scott thanks for coming out as well as all of the rest of the race fans who attend.
