Well said Phil. I feel the same way. Until I hear that things change up there I won't return. I wish Lawrenceburg would run a weekly series. I know there are several people guys in the southern Ohio/Indiana that would support it every week or even on a more regular basis as opposed to twice a year.

everyone should review the 2012 Waynesfield Motorsports Park rules on conduct. This looks pretty black and white to me.

You mean this one:

2. CONDUCT
a. No fighting and/or no behavior threatening violence on property. Anyone involved in violence will be permanently suspended from participating in Waynesfield Raceway Park events for the season

I'm also fond of this one:

e. Rough driving and/or unsportsmanlike conduct interactions are subject to penalties and/or disqualification to be determined by Waynesfield Raceway Park officials. This rule includes anyone connected with the car and includes conduct on and off the track.

I've never been in the pits at Waynesfield but I guess that was 1 way to find out WHO drives the 1R & yes he did drive right into the side of the 3T a couple of weeks ago & that driver acted PROFESSIONAL about & he had EVERY RIGHT to be Pizzed off.

This is just one of the many reasons we have chosen to not race mini sprints anymore ...not because of track or officials or conduct of racers while on track but for the sole fact that every time you go to a race someone is complaining and whining because someone wrecked you or drove dirty.. guys u are racing and I'm sorry but not everyone is perfect I saw the video of the 7r when he and the other car wrecked .. the other car pinched him down and the 7 had already commited... you can't stop on a dime or out these things always in the spot you need to... let the drivers handle it ... I'm sorry but there is wayyy to much drama and bs that goes on there at that track ... also I would like for people to know I know the daughertys personally as our friends and they have given a lot to the sport and I do believe that all the bs about the drinking and them being favored is a bunch of crap and needs to not be said!!! If you have an issue like that with someone do not post that on here go personally to them or an official of that night and say something but your a coward and a poor sport if because one time a car bangs wheels or tears up your stuff and all you do is run down to fight and then come and post on iow about it... if all you guys notice there is not one post on here from the people in which you all decided to bash!!! ... especially of you are not a racer and were not involved... and if you were involved I'm sure that you could have all handled it like a professional... trust me I got kicked out of brownstown. Last year for fighting and not a race goes by that I'm dissapointed in myself as well as my crew!!! It's not good for the sport!!! It's a hobby for most and if you don't stop all the whining.g about mini sprints there won't be a mini sprint place to race ... look at car counts already...mmsa 13 montpelier... amsa average maybe 13... not bashing organizations or promoters but maybe we all need to look at what keeps the sport alive and that my friends is us as racers!!!! No one else!!!!!

Rick actually walked out on the frontstretch & stopped Winks & then went up to him & did what I don't know, Could have had his hand under his helmet or been punching him. Whatever it was he could have atleast let the guy get out of his car. I'm sure if every fan that was setting around us in turn 4 would see this thread they would agree as they was hollering that he was WAY OUT OF LINE & some other stuff. An older fellow behind me was defending Rick saying he wasn't like that 20 years ago & it seems to me that He & Allison had it out at Millstream after 1 of them got hung up in the fence in turn 3. Anyways it was to bad as that 1R was pretty fast & it looked like Loney (?) was going to do something until he slowed.

With all due respect it is the expense of racing that is chasing people from the sport.....not 'whining or drama'.

Racing and inexpensive do not go together! And I agree money is a tough one to argue but whining and arguing will make people go a different direction ... you can't have an inexpensive racing hobby ... its all expensive and its all in what u can afford but everyone being a bunch of whine a** is getting old .. go to a Sprint car show at bloomington!!! Let me know how many fights or temper tantrums or whining that goes on after ...
