I thought it was a good show. I thought the track was good, and thought they did a great job of making an event out of it. Good action in the feature. Hines ran a very good race. Tough break for Darland.

I think the feature turned out a lot better than the heats. The heats appeared to be a freight train. The feature was racy from the back all the way to the front. The track I don't know what to think of it. It should have been perfect conditions to hold a tacky track. It was cool and overcast there all day but, it still seemed to blow off and take rubber? I don't know what this will mean on a hot summer day. I am still on the fence with the whole pine cones and tea leaves compost thing. I also am on the fence with all of the new pyro stuff. A good event at a premier track shouldn't need fireworks to prop up the show after every race. If the race is good that should be flashy enough. I had a great time and a good evening. Just some thoughts about last night running through my head. Congrats to Tracy and a hard charging Robert Ballou on one heck of an elbows up run from the back to p4!

I agreewith ya flatout on the pyro stuff, I didnt need it but my 10 year old daughter thought it was cool and the 20 year old or so group sitting behind me thought it was awesome. My point is for us hard-core fans it isnt needed but we will put up with it but it attracts young people and lord knows we need to keep them involved and coming to the tracks. Other than that agree with all of your thoughts.

The show ran just like it did when Earl ran the joint as far as timeliness. A big thumbs up on keeping it moving on a cool night!

The show did move along pretty good. They are doing two wide restarts in the mod heats. Once they get that figured out it will be nice. JMO

Racing looks great. Who's the screaming idiot on the mike? Where's Omar Williams when you need him?
