This is the most true statement on this thread!!!! No one said Jon couldnt drive, they just said his actions were not proper. AKA like other drivers have done in the past and most on this board was trying to lynch but its Jon Stanbrough, so its ok for him too do.

...sounds to me like he (Stanbrough) was just letting everyone know that in (1) more lap he was going to be cashing another one of those big checks...

How did this board get to this?? Instead of talking about one of the best races of the year, watching Stanbrough being steady and fast and Gardner making his wild charge through the field, bouncing off the front stretch wall once on his own and once with a little help and still having a chance to win. We are talking about something that happened afterwards. Not defending anyone, but we should be talking about the race. Just my opinion.

Your statement is true but unfortunatly people seem to like drama and controversy more.

I ask myself that same question everytime I come in here!
There are way too many on here that just love to stir feces and start rumors!
There is one in guy paticular, when he screams fire, I assume somebody just lite a cigarette!

Wish I could have made to to Gas City, sounds like it was fun!:thumb

Just for the sake of saying it and then no longer posting on this "battle of the threads" stuff...The original JKA post had initially talked about Stanbrough being a pedestrian driver lucky enough to be in a great car that anyone could win with. Along the line he suggested people approach Shane Cottle to verify that anyone could win with the Foxco car (which backhandedly suggests that Cottle's talents are only average as well). What once was a scathing post about Stanbrough, his talents, his behavior to the fans yelling at him after the Gardner flip, and why all this means that Stanbrough can never be classy or skilled enough to get into a Cup ride, now is merely a single word post that says "race" as far as I can see. Perhaps the early morning anger that incited the thread has given way to a more sober assessment of what JKA actually knows to be true.

Is it really this a big deal that some boo birds got flipped off last night ?
