Never been to Duquoin, watched some videos. I know just from hear/say that it's gotta be better than the Kemper races were but sounds like there are a lot of similarities...you pit in a seperate building in DuQuoin? And it's almost as cold on the track as it is outside?

Unless it's just bitterly cold outside, it's honestly no worse inside than a late or early season outdoor race in the midwest. I'd be more concerned with bringing some eye drops and antihistamine for dealing with the fumes than I would be with the temperature.
I have too agree with Illinoise. Seeing videos of this track are good but do not do it justice. I have been to a bunch of races there and have not seen the track surface chunk out like it did a Kemper. Pretty racy, really.jmo

Well put skids. I didn't make it to Kemper but I have to say DuQuoin beats it hands down. The clay slicks off a tad and the racing gets pretty good. For as small as the track is, the cars put on a good show. It's definitely worth checking out if you've never been there.
