I don't see him adding classes, It would have been nice to see the MSCS finale but its not to be.

He has been selling advance discount tickets (Now over) If more purse money was needed, Where would he get it?

Where do the All stars race within a hundred miles of LBurg? Personally, I think thats half their problem as nobody knows the people running with them in the last five years. The old timers know Dale Blaney, Danny Smith but who is Sauder? Gravel? Even Knoxville champ?

Dave the weather is a tuff one. Glad you are still a promoter that thinks about the fans. We drove to Jeffersonville saturday night and the rain just did miss. It just really sucks when a promoter looks at the weather forcast and it shows rain, so they cancel. Then it never rains. See this way to often.

One of the problems with promoting is having enough butts in the seats to pay the drivers in the pits. With cool temperatures and a slow moving storm front headed that way, Dave made a very wise call.

Even if the rain had missed Lawrenceburg, he would have taken a bath due to many folks giving up early. That is why promoters today don't hesitate to pull the plug early rather than risk losing their shirt. Not a business for the faint of heart that is for sure. There are not enough of us die hards left to foot the bill.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

We kinda all knew that their was a good chance that the race could be cancelled when we left home but we came anyway. We knew we were going to lose money driving two and a half hours and the race could be rained out.I am not bashing Dave by no means but I wished he would have made the decision alot earlier.Dave is a very good promoter and we enjoy racing at lawrenceburg throughout the year.We all knew the rain would be there sometime in the afternoon just when we didn't know.Well enough said hope to see everybody at the track Saturday.Their should be a very good turn out even though the big cars are runnung.

Brian, I would have loved to cancel earlier, I was watching the radar all day, and saw it coming, but so many times it falls apart before it reaches us, and if that would have happened...well you know.
I had invested thousands into this race also. we had tv ads, radio ads, sent out 70,000 flyers in the newspapers, and more, prepped the racing surface for a week, and on and on. If i could count on a weather forcast life would be much easier.
Anyhow, Thanks for all of your support this year, its always good to see you guys pull in the gate.
Thanks, Dave
