Hats off to all the staff at the Kokomo Speedway, the race track was fast and multi grooved (to fast for our tired motor ) A big thank you to the fans that braved the Indiana fall weather, you people may not know what it means to the teams when you stop by and talk for a few min. but I think I can speak for all the teams I know, you are what makes the long hours worth doing what we do. Thank you to the teams for your friendship thru the season, knowing you will be there for each other is also a plus. The season is over so now Spencer Racing like a lot of the other teams we run with are concerned about getting ready for next season, working hard all winter so we can do this deal all over again. A special thank you to the teams that have a little more than we do that somehow always seem to just happen to leave a tire at our trailer or take the time to weld up a broken race car for nothing, the parts guys that let us run a tab knowing we might be late paying but there money will get there, the fans that send a new tire or pay Josh's pass just when things are at an all time low, these things do make this all worth it after a rough weekend of chasing a dream that I remember a little boy talking about fifteen years ago. We hope everyone that reads this has a safe off season and when April rolls around stop by your favorite drivers pit and say hi it will mean a lot.

WHAT A GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!Cole Whitt putting the move on Shane Cottle with 2 to go was impressive after nearly flipping coming out of 2 the lap before. Stanbrough coming through from 8th to 3rd would have been one to reckon with if he didn't get the flat with 2 to go as well. Hunter was smooth finishing 3rd and DD raced his ole butt off to finish 4th,good run DD @ I liked the new hood. Bobby East flat out has improved his driving on dirt , he outdueled Brad Kuhn and Bryan Clauson to win the midget feature , although you could have put a blanket on them the last ten laps. They traded the lead repeatedly during this time and at the end Bobby jumped up on the cushion in 1/2 and got a great bite off 2 to clear them for good. I think Kuhn had the fastest car but could not get any racing luck as when he passed Bobby twice the red flag came out for a couple of flips. Bryan was quick as well but it seemed he had a set up for the bottom which I think hurt him when all 3 of them were battling. HEY KOKOMO SPEEDWAY what a great show and year you guys put on see ya next year!!!!!!!!!!

What a great night of racing to end the season! All the drivers put on one heck of a show in both the sprints and midgets!! Kudos to Kokomo Speedway for another terrific season! Looking forward to 2010.
