For me personally, I wish racers would stop supporting draw only formats. Qualifying is how every race night should be started, not a, "look, I won the lottery" type of format.

I don't blame them for loading up. I hear alot of crying in racing.... and it doesn't come from Levi or Bryan. They both know what it means to race hard and clean... something that alot of the other guys should learn.

I know it may be tough to understand, but the name of this site is NOT texasopenwheel.com. There are no Racesaver rules for these guys up here, and you are NOT the promoter of Winchester.

Then. Your chances of getting buried in a b main taking 4 are also high. And maybe if you're good enough to transfer you're so buried in a feature, again IF you transfer. Then you're in the back on a race track that isn't the
easiest to pass on. (not bashing the track don't even go there). Then you may get caught up in some wreck in the the back on the 2nd lap....but I digress. My point, if you look at the people putting the cars on the track starting last in a heat race that takes 2...isn't very good odds to get any return on your night. They aren't putting their cars out there for nothing, we all know it's a losing sport, but if you're at that big of a disadvantage when you walk in the door it makes it a little tougher. Yes I know someone has to start last but tim did what he felt he needed to do for his team, it's his right as the one putting the car on the track.

My usual disclaimer: these opinions are mine, not jerry's or his teams or car owners, just sitting at Winchester putting in my $0.02

Gardner came from the B and finished 3rd last night...musta been somewhere to pass

The MSCS race only paid $250 to start, not $400.

--- Both payouts were posted on a previous thread. IIRC MSCS paid $5,000 for 2nd (more than USAC).

3. Even though I know it takes a lot of money to race sprint cars I'm sure if I took a look at the balance sheet it would probably still astound me. Tim Clauson does not need to apologize to me. I'm always going to be a fan.

4. Just my opinion but there needs to be something better than a pill draw with big events such as this. Maybe the USAC format of some sort of qualifying, qualifying races and four heats is the better way to go.

5. Sorry 5JMOFFATTFAN! There's no crying in short track racing, especially with Levi Jones and the Clauson family.

Yup, I totally agree with both the above statements.
My sentiments exactly, I DO NOT like the draw format one little bit, even though, I still had a great time!
Saw some great racing, some old friends and hopefully made a few new ones too.

The only thing I'm cryin' about is, winter will be here way too soon!

Business/crybaby is up for debate here , but Kasey Kahne cry-babied at the chili bowl a couple of years ago. He was driving a wilke car (great equipment) as you all know and had to start in a F feature. He did not start and said the car would not handle which I cannot believe because the Wilke family are not that far off on their set ups at the track. I found it hard to believe that a great driver with great equipment could not make a run through the alphabet at the bowl. There were probably 200 drivers who would have jumped in that car and raced their a$$ off. I lost alot of respect for Kasey that day.

Ok.Just my 2 cents.First off I am a BC fan and have talked to Tim on here also and he seems pretty pleasant.Second.Ive been there in the driving seat also although with Mr. Leek in Micro's.With that being said the only track I really ran was Peru which is a pill draw.My Dad made me start at the back my first 5 or 6 races. After that my luck was I couldnt draw better than 50 or 60 anyway so was still starting at the back.I ran every week regardless.I know it may not be a popular decision and I dont really understand it because they was there, paid for the pit passes ect.But it wasnt anyones decision except Tim and Levi's to make.Of course they "race" because if everyone knew who was going to win they would pass out trophies and cash at the beginning. There may have been a 6 car pileup and Bryan would have been the only one to make it through.Thats why the checkered means its over.Ive been 6th or 7th at the white and ended up 2nd or 3rd because people taking one another out.So I guess I dont understand the decision but Im not going to get on here and hit them in the mouth about it.I hope everyone got to see good racing anyway.Have a good day!
