Chase was very impressive. 1st time I've seen him run. I'll be keeping a eye on his Sprint Car Racing.

That's not the first time I've seen Chase do that. It's the first time I've seen him do that at Terre Haute or on a big oval. He's had several of those white knuckle rides, like the other night, where he was the minnow outrunning the whole school of largemouth bass, for most of a real big race. Usually at Haubstadt. So I was pretty sure he wasn't going to back down or mentally crack under the pressure. It would be a matter of changing track conditions, his tires going away or something like that. And he was a tough out for Levi, Jerry and Jon. Many times it looked like they had him in between turns 1 and 2 and he would just rocket off of 2 and take the position back. I've said for a long time on here, that Chase is an underrated driver and Saturday night was another example of that. When all the monkey business started happening at the end of the race, that night and Stockon was one of those who ran out of gas, one of my thoughts were that I hoped all this stuff didn't overshadow the great drive that he had turned in.
