I may be looking for someone to sit with. You going to the pits, or what are you doing?

I will be there. Instead of working on a car this year thinking cold beer in the stands is the way I am doing it this year. One of the only races that I would leave my sprinter sitting at home for on a Saturday when I don't have to work.

I drove to Springfield to see my first Champ Car race in 1957. Some guy named Foyt drove his first ever Champ Car event that day. I've been to many since, some in the stands, some in the infield, some as a crew member. But none for the last several years.
Do I drive 60 miles down to Springfield for the SC event or 150 miles up to Rockford for an air show?
I remember when the Springfield race really meant something!
Think I'll be heading north.
