If you go theres another fan in the stand, and maybe more 10K races will follow if you actually support races like these.

With some of your smart ass comments that you have made recently on here,Kokomo Speedway must be real proud to have you as a spokesman for their speedway.

Anyone care to guess if/how those in charge will find a way to "alter" things at Springfield on the 22nd?

And anyone with the real reason for dumping the Hut 100? Low entries? Not big enough crowd expected?
Please share with us.....

I'm not a "spokesman." I'm not even sure they have a "spokesman." If they do, it's Jill or Rob; I'm not on the payroll.

Smartass comments? If defending yourself from IOW idiots is a crime, then lock me up and throw away the key because I am guilty as charged. We all know you're tight with some folks who don't care for me. I've never had a problem with you, but apparently you have one with me via buddy osmosis.

At any rate, this thread is about the Hut 100 being dropped, not me being baited and dragged into another pissing match with these people. I'm done.

Morty, here is the schedule for the Silver Crown race. It looks the same as in past years. See you there.

Just playing with some numbers here. If the USAC Silver Crown race starts close to the 1:30 PM CDT published start time is should realistically be finished by 3:30 PM CDT. Figure another 1/2 an hour to get everyone loaded into vehicles and another 1/2 drive to the Springfield airport and it is now 4:30 PM CDT. Maybe an hour flight from Springfield to Cincinnati (Northern Kentucky) makes it 5:30 PM CDT which is 6:30 PM EDT (Lawrenceburg time). Another 1/2 an hour to the track and it is 7:00 PM. Cutting things real close if everything goes according to this time frame. An thoughts or corrections on my calculations are welcome.

I believe Kevin Miller said changes were going to be made regarding the “Hut 100” on racin with DO. So I guess this change isn’t a surprise to me.

Or they could take a helicopter or two like they used to from the HH to the Hoosier fall classic.

THe hut 100 thing saddens me but does not surpise me. It seems like that race has had so many problems over the past few years. THis year midget counts are thin and POWRI already had a triple header weekend on tap.

You are dreaming if you think any of those POWRi midgets except one or two would venture over and run the Hut 100. Not gonna happen guys.
