With it being a non-points event will it still follow all USAC rules and procedures? i.e. qualifying, 4 heat races, etc...

While I am sure many will think my opinion is bias, and without trying to be negative about anything Dave is doing because I think he is doing a great job at Lawrenceburg Speedway.. You have to wonder why USAC didnt think of this conflict when they decided to schedule this race, which was not on the schedule untill a month or so ago. This was also about the time of the little scheduling conflict they had with ASCS out west. Hmmm.. This Lawrenceburg date happens to fall on the final night of the ASCS TNT tour, and the final night of the Ron Shuman Classic.. Hmmm Then all of the sudden, THIS WEEK it shows up on the USAC website as a "special event?" but no press release or any sort of heads up to its teams? Hmmm.. Makes you wonder if the USAC office might have jumped the gun on trying to make a statement, and shot themselves in the big toe...Just an opinion, no disrespect to you Dave, like I said I applaud the efforts you and your team are putting in, but I would maybe be a little upset with USAC if I were in your shoes, because I really do believe your car count, and star driver count will suffer..

I just hope you don't interrupt our prayer meeting that is followed by our public service planning symposium.

I'm counting the days, Dave.

Casey, if my previous posts about smelling gunsmoke too often when getting near the intersection of 16th and Georgetown reflect the number of "shot themselves in the big toe" occurrences, they have got to be rapidly running out of toes!

Now that we have established (1) Dave is an excellent promoter , (2) Lawrenceburg is a phenomenal facility , and (3) USAC is lacking in the mental capacity department ...

Which cars and stars will show up? After all there's still a large hunk of cash up for grabs :2: (USAC points or not)!!!!

Why does almost every thread on here have to gravitate toward USAC bashing? Is anybody else here get tired of it besides me?
