Fremont ran their 305 sprints wingless during the finale of Ohio Speedweek. THey put on a pretty good show. You could tell a lot of them are not used to running without the wing.
If anyone is interested in the 3054's. THey are running a 3-5 vrs. 360 race at Lima on Friday. I think it continues on Saturday at Fremont. |

Why on earth does anyone think that they need to have a traveling "economy" series? As I've said before, the SCORA was just as stupid an idea because you shouldn't have an economy class travel. Start out with a couple tracks - Friday, Saturday and Sunday possibly and build from there. If the class is able to grow then maybe you could have a deal where different tracks would host some type of Sprint week type deal or possibly a UMP summernationals type mini series with a point fund but first build a solid foundation. A good start up division would be good for the sport of sprint car racing but asking those guys to add travel expense racing at different tracks just doesn't make sense to me.
